A far cry from the ‘Instagram brow’ of the past, 2019’s brow trend is subtle, pared back and fluffy in comparison. The idea is that the brows add lift and contour to your features, without seeming overly harsh or drawn on. So, how can you achieve a full-yet-natural looking brow, especially if your brows are on the sparse side?
Tint
The less product you use, the more natural your brows will look. Tinting is the best way to highlight your natural brow shape and make the most of what you’ve got. It helps to accentuate even the tiniest of hairs to create the best base for you to build on with product.
Define
To recreate the 2019 brow without looking overdone, rid your makeup bag of stiff, waxy pencils and pigmented pomades – a powder will provide a much softer finish. Try to embrace your natural brow shape as you use an angled brush to sparingly add strokes only where you need them to provide soft definition. Finish by brushing hairs upwards using a clear brow gel for an undone finish that holds all day.
Microblading
For full, fluffy and deceptively natural looking brows, opt for a Microblading treatment, offered right here at Sian Dellar! Microblading uses tiny, disposable microblades to impart hair-like strokes into to the dermis, resulting in defined and long-lasting brows that no one will know you weren’t naturally blessed with! The results last for up to a year and can be maintained with touch-ups.
